Where is Your Green Card?

Tags: , , , ,

Arizona just passed a questionable immigration reform bill that authorizes law officers to stop suspected illegal immigrants and demand evidence of citizenship.

This is creating a huge uproar from Hispanic groups, who protested outside the state capital in Phoenix. Many people are stirring up fears that they will randomly be arrested just because of their race or nationality. Many of these groups are saying they will be hunted down like animals, weather they have legal papers or not. Anyone arrested, must prove their immigration status before they are released. This law goes for anyone, not just Hispanics. All whites, Asians, and blacks will have to go through the same process.

Fear will cause panic, and panic is extremely lethal. This is exactly what terrorists do to rule the people in their countries. Law enforcement officials have to have a “reasonable suspicion ” to stop any person. This has always been the law, with no regard for who you are. They just can’t pull you over, thinking you are smuggling drugs, as you are black? They have to have a “reasonable suspicion”. That goes for everyone.

When you are talking about the state of Arizona, where an approximate half 1,000,000 illegal immigrants live, the majority of these illegal immigrants will be Hispanic. The phobia of requiring a multiple amount of ID’s is false. There is a driver’s license, a non-operating identification license, valid tribal enrollment card or other kind of tribal identification, or “any valid US Fed, state, or local govt issued identification. ” only one of these is required, not multiple ones, as the nightmare mongers are crying out.

Even if a person does not have the required ID on his person, it is just a formality to get this information. You can go on the computer and check a person’s records, photographs, and other identifying details rather quickly.
Unfortunately, our own president is asking the Justice Department to challenge the new law. All he is doing is adding fuel to the fire that is already brewing. Adding more fears and creating more made up anxiety is not what the leader of our country should be doing. In the short run, this might help him to look good for his Hispanic constituents, but in the long run, his credibility will be on thin ice and may suffer.

Therefore who is really against this new law? The aliens who are here unlawfully. Who else would be in fear of getting pulled over for a ticket when you know your not here legally? What if the governing body asserted that they were going to audit each one’s tax return. Who would be the ones that would cry the loudest? All those who either failed to file a return, or had cheated. The folks that filed a return and did it right, do not have nothing to stress about. The laws are instituted to offer protection to the good law abiding voters. So if your not a voter of this country, than yes, you must be terrified of being arrested and going to jail, as you are breaking the law by being here. Not a good way to start your new life is it.

What kind of American citizen would you be anyway? You are already breaking the law. I guess the thing that has me upset the most, is the attitude from these people. I understand the reason for wanting to come into this great country. The opportunities and the chance to improve your life and the lives of your family, make coming into America a golden opportunity. That is why this country has always kept it’s doors open to so many. The Statue of Liberty stands for freedom for all…..”Bring me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses, yearning to breathe free…..

Liberty isn’t free. There’s work to maintain our liberties. There are those that would really like to break the liberties that we enjoy. The liberties that we have paid with the blood of so many brave males and females of America.

These folks who try and come here by breaking our laws, and swiping our roles. They have not shed one once of blood or paid one dime in taxes for THE RIGHT! Yes it is a right and a privilege to be an American citizen. You can’t come in here and think that we or anyone else owes you something. We owe you nothing! You owe us the proof and the where withal that you belong to this great land. You can carry your weight, and earn the privilege to be called an American.

These people that are doing the loudest grousing about this new law are the disdainful, ungrateful. The ones running this country down with their mouth, burning our flag and spiting in the faces of all of the legal aliens. The authentic people of America.

How Do I Enter The Green Card Lottery?

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , ,

Each and every year the United States Government will issue green cards through what is known as the Diversity Lottery program or the Green Card Lottery Program. Immigrants that are from an eligible country and their families have a chance of being able to live and work in the US.

Each year an immigrant is allowed to apply for the green card but, even if they are selected as a winner, that does not necessarily mean that you are free and clear to enter the US. There is a catch that you should be aware of.

One of the biggest thing is that the applicants must first pay a $750 to the United States Embassy in the country that they are applying from. You also must pass a variety of different medical exams. The US Government also states that the winner of this lottery must have an advanced level of schooling or have worked in a professional position for at least two years in the last five years.

Along with the overall eligibility you will also need at least a high school diploma or the equivalent of one. You will also need to be sure that you have at least 2 years of work experience or training within the last five years. This should be in the field of interest that you are looking at joining when you enter the US.

On an average there are around 11 million applicants each and every year. If this is the case than your odds are not very high that you may gain citizenship. This actually averages out to be 1 out of every 340 applications.

Once the Government has received all the applications by the deadline, the State Department that is running the lottery will then select only a few hundred thousand winners at random through their computer program. However, there are only a maximum of 50,000 immigrants each year that actually win the green card. The remaining of the applicants will not receive a green card for a variety of different reasons. The reasons include such things as failed health screening or a failed criminal background check. All of these must be completed before you even begin. Also you need to be willing to pay the $750 fee that is required if you win.

These applications are only available in English but there are U.S. Personnel that will assist you with your process. You need to remember that your chances only increase if you actually participate. If you are lucky enough to win you will be granted almost every right as a normal citizen. However, you will not be able to vote.

The green card lottery is a great way for someone to become a US citizen and, as a result, have all the full benefits of any other American citizen. Participating will greatly increase you and your families chances of becoming a citizen. You should really consider participating in the green card lottery today.
